Today's Inspiration: All our fights and quarrels come from the desires that battle within us. James 4:1. We covet over things we don't have. Covetousness is a serious sin and it is a form of idolatry and God hates idolatry or any images or any living being you worship that takes priority in your life.
Those who know God will act in obedience to His commands. If we obey His word, God's love is truly made complete in Him. Whoever claims he is a child of God, the Holy Spirit lives in him and He who lives in him must walk as Jesus did on Earth. 1 John 2:6. We are strong only when the word rests with us. We overcome by His word and the shed blood of Jesus as redemption draws near to us.
When God is with us, no one can be against us. Romans 8:31. It's easy to tell someone we love him but truly we need to ask ourselves if we truly love. If we do, we should not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth. 1 John 3:18. Faith without works is dead. God loves a cheerful giver and is greater than our hearts. If we have truly loved, we set our hearts at ease for With God we have peace beyond measure. When peace governs our hearts, it is like a river of the spirit that grants us life beyond measure. So pray that you take on the image of God. This includes those who are around you. God is love. God be praised.
We need to pray to God to guard the door of our lips. May we not be quick to speak but reflect before we speak, slow to react angrily to provocations but attentive to His voice. By so doing, we obey His will and those who do His will, lives forever. No one who is born of God should continue to respond to the sins of the flesh. He who is born of God cannot go on sinning because God's seed remains in him. Anyone who does right is a child of God who loves his brethren. 1 John 3:9-10. Loving one another is God's commandments from the very beginning. So do likewise. God be praised.
Prayer: Lord surround me with people who are transformed by You and have singleness of heart that there be peace in this land for You are greater than our hearts and knows everything beforehand for the whole world is subject to Your plan. Your plan, that is greater than our plan, who can thwart? You desire that we have the best and You know everything, in Jesus’ name.
