Today's Inspiration: Avoid worldly and empty chatter for it will lead to further ungodliness and their talk will spread like gangarene. 2 Timothy 2:16-17. God's voice can come when we least expect it- in a thought that goes through our heads in a pang of conscience when we do something wrong or through sudden insight when we face a major change in life. Often it comes to us whilst reading the word of God, the Bible.
All the writings of the Bible were God inspired from the mind and heart of God. 2 Peter 1:20-21. Hence they are alive and active sharper than a double edged sword that cut deeply into our hearts to convict us to change our ways of our master from the old to the new.
Our response to change depends upon our faith and trust in Jesus. Faith creates and sustains the momentum that keeps us walking towards Jesus and this faith is a gift of the loving gracious and merciful God who not only enables us to discern His voice but also to respond. John 6:37, 44 and 65. God be praised.
Prayer: Because of the shed blood of Christ we can draw near with confidence to the throne of grace that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in times of need. In Jesus' name, Amen.
