11 February 2023 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: “Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you by prophecy with the laying on of the hands of the eldership. Meditate on these things; give yourself entirely to them, that your progress may be evident to all.” I Timothy‬ ‭4‬:‭14‬-‭15‬ ‭NKJV‬‬. God doesn’t not look at how long we have been a believer or how long we have been attending church. He looks at our respond to His prophetic calling. Paul was reminding young Timothy the calling of God spoken in His life and to give himself wholeheartedly to His voice. Romans 10:17. Do not be distracted by the worldly things but focus on the Lord’s calling and gifts in your life from above. Be a producer and not just a consumer in the Church.

It’s time and season to pray for the young generation to rise up and answer the calling of God. Today the strongest spiritual stronghold is distraction and deception. The enemy is capturing the generation with media of violence, vices, lawlessness and defilement. Family needs to gather together to pray against such temptations and pull down all idols that takes them away from God. Many things can distract us from putting God first and obeying His commandments. Sicknesses, financial lack and broken relationships comes from prayerlessness, lukewarness and lawlessness. So let’s join hands to build a prayer altar of God for the next generation to encounter God’s miracles, signs and wonders. He will pour out His Spirit upon them with His spiritual gifts and prophecies. Acts 2:17. Praise God!

Prayer: O Lord my God, I believe this generation shall be filled with your Holy Spirit and Fire. Let all thy prophecies and divine utterance over our generation and children be activated into fulfilment for your glory. I proclaim for me and my house, we shall serve the Lord. And all our household shall be saved, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
