Today’s Inspiration: “Say to God, “How awesome are your deeds! So great is your power that your enemies cringe before you. All the earth bows down to you; they sing praise to you, they sing the praises of your name.” Psalms 66:3-4. Praises is the highest form of Worship for it opens the Heavenly gates and releases the blessings of God. A true intercessor is a true worshipper. John 4:23 Many thought worship is about giving tithe and offerings to God, it is more and deeper than that. Worship is giving all our hearts to God, for obedience is better than sacrifice. 1 Samuel 15:22.
There is power in the praises of God’s children. The ammonites and moabites came against King Jehoshaphat of Judah with their huge armies but Jehoshaphat came against them with Praises unto God. 2 Chronicles 20:22. While the enemies are picking up the strongest soldiers, he is selecting the true worshippers of the Lord. Eventually God routed the enemies and totally destroyed them for the praises of God confuses all our adversaries to turn against one another. No weapons form against God’s people shall prosper, and no accusation shall stand in the Lord’s rebuke. Isaiah 54:17. Praises is the sound of victory in the soul which changes our countenance and raises our faith in worshipping God. So let’s enter the Lord’s gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise in our hearts. Psalm 100:4.
Prayer: O Lord my God, you are awesome in your workings and is able to bless us exceedingly abundantly above all we can ever ask or imagine according to your power that works in us. Let your peace and favour be upon us to be witnesses of your goodness and loving kindness, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
