Today’s Inspiration: “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws.” Ezekiel 36:26-27 NIV. We need the baptism and infilling of the Holy Spirit to step into the new purpose and will of God. How do you know when the Holy Spirit comes upon you? There will be repentance, revival, and regeneration for transformation in your heart.
Today not all movements are the movement of Holy Spirit so we have to be discerning. There is a difference between sensation and sensitivity. Matthew 7:21. From the Old Testament to the New Testament, the Holy Spirit changes a soul in attitudes, behaviour and character just as Jacob to Israel and Saul to Paul. Sensation will only please the flesh and seek what one wants but Sensitivity discerns our own sins and turn from our ways to God’s. When God changes your heart, your mind will be renewed with His Word to be a witness of His love, faith and hope for your salvation. We who were once dead in our sins, now becomes alive in Christ. It is a new time and season to be filled with His Holy Spirit. Praise God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, reveal your truth in my life by your Holy Spirit. Fill me with your Spirit, your conviction, correction and comfort. Lead me in your everlasting ways. Take my old heart and give me the heart of Christ to have the passion of Christ to do the Father’s work assigned for me. Give me clean hands and a pure heart to accomplish them that I will do all things for the glory of God, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
